Key Responsibilities Conduct thorough evaluations of patients recovering from injury, disease, or surgery and develop personalized treatment plans. Utilize advanced techniques such as exercise therapy, manual therapy, and specialized modalities to alleviate pain and restore mobility. Document each patient's progress meticulously, tracking treatment responses and modifying plans as needed to ensure optimal outcomes. Reassess treatment goals regularly and collaborate with patients to adapt their therapeutic journey as necessary. Assist patients with fitting and training on assistive devices that facilitate self-care and mobility. Educate patients, family members, and caregivers on various physical therapy methods and home care strategies to maximize recovery. Engage in ongoing professional development to maintain your licensure and enhance your expertise in the field. Patient Population / Client Focus Your role will focus on a diverse clientele, spanning from pediatric to geriatric patients. You will work with individuals facing challenges due to orthopedic injuries, neurological disorders, post-operative recovery, and more. Our team values building strong relationships with our patients, understanding their unique needs, and supporting their goals throughout their rehabilitation journey. Qualifications Earned a Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT). Possession of a valid physical therapy license in the state of New Jersey. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with patients and families. Proficient in using electronic medical records and various computer systems for documentation and reporting. A commitment to continuous learning and professional growth. Preferred Experience A minimum of two years of experience in a physical therapy role is preferred, however, exceptional new graduates are welcome to apply. Experience working in a rehabilitation center or home care setting will be advantageous. Familiarity with assistive devices and adaptive methods for patient training is beneficial.
