Job Description

 

Supervisory Responsibilities:

 

  • Lead the Information Security Engineers
  • Coach team members to work and collaborate effectively

 

Duties/Responsibilities:

 

  • Participates in security architecture development to common security services, with a focus on cloud-based solutions
  • Supports new projects in formulating security requirements
  • Identifies the risks resulting from the lack of compliance with internal controls and the risks related to current and new products, while ensuring that adequate controls are maintained
  • Conducts risk assessment and manages risk treatment plans
  • Participates in the development and maintenance of the Disaster Recovery plan as well as its synchronization with the business continuity plan of the enterprise
  • Proposes changes to policies, directives, and security processes in order to mitigate risks with regards to identified new threats and vulnerabilities
  • Interfaces with technology and business-services vendors, to ensure that Intelerad acquires products and services that protect confidentiality, integrity and availability of informational assets.

Qualifications

Required Experience/Skills:

 

  • Degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science or equivalent
  • 8+ years’ experience in IT and a minimum of 5 of those years of experience in Information Security Architecture
  • Strong knowledge of techniques, standards and state-of-the-art capabilities for authentication and authorization, applied cryptography, security vulnerabilities and remediation
  • CISSP, CISM security certification or equivalent
  • Excellent knowledge with the ISO 27001, 27017, 27018 standards
  • Strong knowledge of information security from a strategic and tactical point of view as well as the development and implementation of security policies, procedures and solutions including in the context of Disaster Recovery
  • Very strong understanding of emerging technologies in IT such as a Cloud Platform and Mobile BYOD as well as the associated security risks
  • Excellent understanding of software applications, network architectures and protocols, operating systems, and core infrastructure security concepts and concerns
  • Strong organizational/collaborative leadership and change management experience
  • Highly developed written and verbal communication skills
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
