About the role

THE JOB

The Park MGM Cage Credit Clerk will assist guests, Casino Executives and Corporate Credit with information required to make credit decisions.  The Cage Credit Clerk is focused on enhancing the guest experience by delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining the smooth operation of the casino floor.  You will play a vital role in our mission to own the guest’s experience and create WOW memories that they will carry with them far beyond their stay with us.

THE STARTING PAY RATE:  $17.00/ Per Hour

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

  • Assist in completing and managing the proper distribution of Cage paperwork
  • Manage safety deposit boxes available for guest use, including opening and closing boxes and providing access during guests' stays
  • Perform weekly audits of safe deposit boxes and communicate findings to Cage Leadership
  • Compile information and document it on affidavits for executive review
  • Facilitate credit applications for guests, explaining required information and reviewing completed applications to ensure all necessary details are provided
  • Collaborate closely with Corporate Credit to ensure thorough completion of credit checks
  • Conduct data research utilizing Central Credit systems to support operational needs
  • Contact banking institutions to verify bank ratings and check authenticity, scanning and recording identification and signatures into the computer system as required
  • Create MGM Rewards accounts for new guests, inputting biographical data for new registrations and updating existing accounts with new information when provided
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • Nevada State Gaming Registration
  • High school diploma, GED or educational equivalent
  • Must be able to work various shifts, including weekends and all holidays

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

  • Six (6) months of previous administrative experience
  • One (1) year of previous guest services experience
  • Basic knowledge of computer software including Outlook, MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint as well as office equipment, i.e. telephone, copier, fax machine
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and can multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with all stakeholders
  • Capable of standing and walking for a majority of the shift
  • Able to effectively communicate in English, in both written and verbal forms
