Project Mgmt, Non-Tech - P2 (Project Specialist II -HR)

The Project Specialist II – HR role will manage and/or support site-level HR projects or strategies. This role will work cross functionally to execute and roll out site and enterprise-wide projects and initiatives. This role will work with all levels of the organization.  Manages infrastructure projects to ensure the highest level of performance and availability. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Participates in the planning, execution and finalization of projects according to strict deadlines, within budget and by following organized and repeatable procedures.
  • Acquires resources and coordinates the efforts of team members and third party contractors or consultants in order to deliver projects according to plan.
  • Acts as a liaison with project stakeholders and effectively communicates project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion.
  • Identifies and manages project dependencies and critical path items while ensuring project quality and utilizing and following appropriate methodologies (e.g. GSM).
  • Conducts project post mortems and communicates lessons learned in order to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements.

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree Required, Master’s Degree preferred
  • 2-3 years of related work experience in similar industry or organizational context with general understanding of HR processes and principles
  • Experience leading or supporting HR projects or related initiatives in Employee Engagement, Communications, DE & I, Talent Development, etc.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with different teams and stakeholders, influencing without direct authority
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically.
  • High level of creativity and innovation in defining solutions and addressing challenges proactively.
  • Ability to measure/analyze metrics and adapt strategies accordingly.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism
  • Experience with change management principles and frameworks
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint, as well as project tracking tools
  • Bilingual in both English and Spanish a plus, with demonstrated ability to write and edit content and presentations for various audiences and platforms
