OVERVIEW
Caribou Thunder is seeking a Junior Test Engineer to support test and evaluation (T&E), systems integration, and verification activities for space and ground systems. The ideal candidate will contribute to test planning, execution, and analysis, ensuring system reliability and performance within a highly technical and mission-critical environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Develop and provide testing specifications for program-specific architecture documentation within the BH system.
2. Recommend and implement automated testing approaches to optimize system validation.
3. Deliver test results and analysis to support program configuration and architecture changes.
4. Procure test equipment and develop test plans to evaluate software/hardware modifications and technology integration feasibility.
5. Contribute to the creation of test plans, test reports, product assessments, and testing procedures, ensuring accurate, objective, and impartial verification.
6. Author tailored Test Plans and assist in the development of the Master Test Strategy.
7. Support BH system readiness reviews to ensure operational compliance.
8. Provide verification of the compliance status of systems, subsystems, and applications to Government leads.
9. Ensure effective capacity planning and resource allocation to prioritize testing tasks.
10. Document lessons learned in Test Reports and provide actionable insights for mission partners and system users.
11. Implement test tools and DevOps methodologies for testing analysis and automation.
12. Provide SME input for the development of training materials and self-help FAQs.
QUALIFICATIONS
1. 0 - 2 years of experience in test and evaluation (T&E) work.
2. Experience in systems integration and systems engineering.
3. Familiarity with space-ground testing activities and Operational Assessments.
4. Experience with User Acceptance Testing.
5. Knowledge of component and subsystem reliability, availability, and maintainability analysis to support Test Plans.
