Purchasing Analyst - Summer Temporary Position

10x Genomics is seeking a Purchasing Analyst to join the Procurement team for a 3 month assignment.  The Purchasing Analyst will be providing support to the Procurement team in enhancement of the Oracle ERP system and creating KPI dashboards.

 

What you will be doing:

• Reviewing system-generated planned orders before routing to the Buyers
• Tracking supplier responses for PO confirmations and updating the delivery dates in our Oracle system
• Generating weekly On-Time Delivery / Purchase Price Variance / PO Acknowledgement / PO Ageing reports
• Using advanced Excel features or data programming tools to implement simple automation and productivity improvement
• Creating basic work instructions for Oracle workflow processes
• Build dashboard to track and present KPIs
• Assisting with on-going system enhancement projects / initiatives

 

Minimum Requirements:

• Able to commit a minimum of 3 months
• Recent graduate or actively pursuing Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Operations or Supply Chain Management 
• ERP system and Supply Chain Management acumen 
• Ability to interpret, model, and analyze data
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills

 

Preferred Skills & Experience:

• Proficiency in BI tools (such as Tableau) and Excel Macro is an added advantage
