The Configuration Management (CM) and Life Cycle Cost (LCC) team within the Military Engines Engine Design & Systems Integration (ED&SI) organization provides a unique system level vantage point of not just engine architecture, but also of how the major business units across Pratt & Whitney design, develop, and deliver products and how our products are used and maintained.

Our team is looking for a highly motivated individual willing to learn the intricate details of the Configuration Management Discipline. As a CM Analyst, you will learn about and support a variety of functions including writing and processing engineering changes, creating and maintaining bills of material. CM personnel support program management and are directly responsible for direction and conduct of the CM program activities for the product.

What You Will Do

  • Work closely with our key internal customers: Program Management, Design Integration, Integrated Product Teams (IPTs), Component Integrated Product Teams (CIPTs), Customer Support, and the Engine Center to support CM activities.  
  • Support initiatives of the LCC & CM department and Engine Design and System Integration (ED&SI) Customer Oriented Results & Excellence (CORE).
  • Be an individual driver of process improvement efforts to increase LCC & CM efficiency and reduce turn-time.
  • The position is onsite in East Hartford, CT. This means that the responsibilities of the job need to be performed onsite on a regular basis.

What You Will Learn

  • This position is a part of our Engineering Development Program (EDP). EDP participants will complete three to four rotations to build technical breadth and leadership abilities before graduating from the program.

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM)
  • Minimum Cumulative GPA of 3.0

Qualifications We Prefer

  • Desire to learn and become proficient with CM procedures, the RTX Lifecycle Program Management (RLPM) process, and the engineering change and proposal processes
  • Experience with Teamcenter, SAP, and Product Definition tools
  • Task leadership abilities
  • High level of attention to detail
