We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Quality Operations Senior Manufacturing Manager to lead quality initiatives at our Grand Rapids, Michigan site. This role is critical in ensuring compliance, driving first-time quality, and fostering a strong quality culture within our manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will thrive in high-pressure environments, demonstrate strong leadership, and bring expertise in audit readiness, field corrective action management, and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.
Lead a manufacturing site to excellence in product quality, operational excellence, and a culture of putting patients first.
Drive the combined Quality and GOSC strategies to deliver results.
Interact with and influence leaders across multiple leadership teams (Core Quality, OUs, and GOSC).
Provide oversight for the development and maintenance of quality programs, systems, processes, and procedures that ensure compliance with policies and that the performance and quality of services conform to established internal and external standards and guidelines.
Lead audit and inspection preparation, resolution of audit and inspection findings and liaise with auditing groups and inspectors through all stages of the audits.
Facilitate uniform standards worldwide and enables best practice sharing, thereby fostering the achievement of company's mission globally.
May develop, evaluate, implement, and maintain technical quality assurance and control systems or reliability systems and standards pertaining to materials, techniques, or company products.
Organize the coordination of activities with outside suppliers and consultants to ensure timely delivery.

Must Have: Minimum Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree with 7+ years of work experience in Quality and/or experience in a regulated industry plus 5+ years of leadership experience OR Advanced Degree with 5+ of work experience in Quality and/or experience in a regulated industry plus 5+ years of leadership experience
Nice to Have
Leadership in driving quality culture transformation
Expertise in improving first-time quality (FTQ)
Strong knowledge of audit readiness and compliance (e.g., FDA, ISO 13485)
Experience managing and mitigating field corrective actions (FCAs)
Data-driven decision-making skills (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean)
Ability to collaborate effectively across functions
Proven success in high-pressure environments
Continuous improvement mindset with a focus on sustainable change
Clear and effective communication skills
Passion for mentoring and developing teams
