Position Summary

Advancia Aeronautics, LLC is seeking an Information Technology Project Manager (Level II), to manage and coordinate the delivery and performance of Information Technology services for the Eisenhower Army Medical Center.  The Eisenhower Army Medical Center is a 93-bed medical treatment facility located in Augusta, Georgia.

**Position is dependent upon contract award, government acceptance and ability to pass government security investigation (must be a United States Citizen).

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • The Project Manager performs more independent thinking and difficult tasks compared to Level I and may supervise others
  • Plans, initiates, and manages information technology projects; Serves as liaison between business and technical aspects of projects
  • Plan project stages and assess business implications for each stage; Monitor progress to assure deadlines, standards, and cost targets are met
  • Possesses and applies expertise on multiple complex work assignments; Assignments may be broad in nature, requiring originality and innovation in determining how to accomplish tasks
  • Coordination, stand-up, communication, closeout, review, data gathering, data entry, briefings (plan, set-up, record) for IT Facilities and Construction, Telecommunications, End User Devices, Hardware, and Software
  • Update and maintain IT Contracts, budgets, funding, and procurement activities using IT business management tools and applications IAW applicable management and contracting staff
  • Document, update, and track risk and issues for risk mitigation
  • Provide administrative support in the areas of status reporting, data gathering, data entry, report preparation, support for briefings, funding profiles, task lists, installation or customer meeting logistics, managing project risks and issues, and other duties as required
  • Research, review, document, and adhere to organizational processes and procedures
  • Support technical staff, as necessary and serve as liaison between business and technical aspects of projects
  • Oversee project/Program deliverables, Projects, and Government requests; Manage project/program performance and initiatives
  • Monitor progress to assure deadlines, standards, and cost targets are met
  • Prepare and participate in internal and external meetings directed by the government
  • Perform “other duties as assigned” by the government deemed necessary for program success

Education and Certification Requirements:

Education

- Bachelor’s Degree and 4 years of related experience.

Certification

 - Project Management Professional (PMP) certification required. 

Experience Requirements:

  • 4-year minimum of progressive experience demonstrating the required proficiency.
  • Experience managing and directing activities of large multi-disciplinary IT support groups
  • Experience executing complex Information Technology projects to address needs and requirements, process improvements, interfacing with other functional support groups and outside personnel, preparing capital and operating requests

Working Conditions/Working Environment/Physical Demands

Working Conditions/Working Environment:  The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.  The position may require travel to and from out-of-town meetings, conferences or training events and maybe exposed to outdoor weather conditions.  The employee is expected to perform during the normal duty hours of 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM EDT, Monday through Friday, with the exception of Federal Government holidays, with an allowance for a one-hour lunch period each day.  Occasionally, the employee may be required to perform and/or provide services outside the normal hours of duty. These occasions will be infrequent and require services to be performed after normal working hours in the evening and/or weekends (Saturday and Sunday), with prior approval.
