The Role

The Database Administration Lead manages and administers the physical and technical aspects of database systems, including base definition, structure, documentation, long-range requirements, operational guidelines and protection. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, installation and maintenance of the database system, installation of upgrades and patches, performance and capacity monitoring/management, and security compliance. In this role you will propose and implement enhancements that will improve the performance and reliability of the system. You will also have potential interactions with clients (internal or external) to understand and meet requirements for the delivery of services related to database products.

This role is a hybrid working environment, in office 2-3 days a month in Iselin, NJ.

Required Skills and Experience

• 5 years of experience in Database Administration.

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.

• Extensive knowledge in Data Modeling, MySQL, and Relational Database Management.

• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical-thinking skills.

• Communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex data insights to both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, while maintaining a high level of attention to detail.

The compensation range for the position in the U.S. is - $74,640 to $141,960 based on a full-time schedule. Your actual compensation may vary depending on your geography, job-related skills and experience. For part time roles, the compensation will be adjusted appropriately. The pay or salary range will not be below any applicable state, city or local minimum wage requirement.

There is a different applicable compensation range for the following work locations:

New York City: $89,640 to $170,280                                                                                   

Washington: $82,200 to $156,240
