<h2><b><span>Introduction</span></b><span> </span></h2><p><span><span>If </span><span>you’re</span><span> a master student interested in data and analytics, consider an internship at Business Intelligence &amp; Analytics (BI&amp;A) team at ASML. </span><span>You’ll</span><span> help to migrate an essential financial data model </span><span>about the usage of parts </span><span>f</span><span>rom Alteryx (using SAP exports) to modern data analytics platforms such as HANA </span><span>Cloud </span><span>Lab or Databricks.</span></span><span> </span><br/> </p><h2><b>Your assignment</b></h2><p><span><span>You will take ownership of key aspects of the migration project, working under the guidance of our experienced team members.</span><span> Your responsibilities will involve collaborating with stakeholders in ASML EUV and DUV, analyzing </span><span>complex </span><span>Alteryx data logic, and reconstructing it in HANA Lab (HANA</span><span>, SQL</span><span>) or Databricks</span><span> (Python, SQL)</span><span>. Additionally, you will gain insight into ASMLs field </span><span>operations,</span><span> financial </span><span>processes</span><span> and</span><span> </span><span>parts usage information</span><span> for ASMLs Lithography systems from all over the world</span><span>. You will streamline</span><span> the data model by removing unnecessary logic based on dashboard usage. Throughout this project, you will gain hands-on experience with modern analytics platforms and deepen your understanding of financial data processes in a leading technology company.</span></span><span> </span></p><p></p><p>Key responsibilities include:</p><ul><li><p><span>Design and execute the migration of a complex and extensive Alteryx data model to HANA Lab or Databricks. </span></p></li><li><p><span>Work with stakeholders to identify actively used dashboard sections and link them to Alteryx functional blocks, migrating only essential components for a streamlined data model. </span></p></li><li><p><span>Translate data model logic into Python or SQL for implementation in the new environment. </span></p></li><li><p><span>Participate in progress meetings and presentations to share updates with the broader team. </span></p></li><li><p><span>Interfacing with our DevOps team to make sure all necessary data sources are available in the new environment. </span></p></li><li><p><span>Deliver a fully functional data model migrated to HANA Lab or SSA Databricks, accompanied by clear documentation outlining logic changes and improvements. </span><br/> </p></li></ul><p>This is a master internship for 4 to 6 months, for 2 to 5 days per week (50% on-site). The start date of this internship is as soon as possible.<br/> </p><h2>Your profile</h2><p>To be a fit for this internship, you:</p><ul><li><p><span>Have a Master's background in a quantitative component (such as Computer Science, Engineering, Business Management, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Physics, Econometrics). </span></p></li><li><p><span>Have affinity with analytics and data modeling. </span></p></li><li><p><span>Have experience in Python, SQL for data processing, and affinity with Alteryx and Spotfire is a <span>plus.   </span></span></p></li><li><p><span>Have strong problem-solving capabilities, attention to detail and have the ability to work independently.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Comfortable analyzing complex data logic and translating it into modern analytics environments. </span><br/> </p></li></ul><p><b>Other requirements you need to meet </b></p><ul><li><p><span>You are enrolled at an educational institute </span><u>for the entire duration of the internship</u><span>;</span></p></li><li><p><span>You need to be located in the Netherlands to be perform your internship.
