Registered Nurse - Med Surg Observation FT Nights (68945)

JOB SUMMARY

Provides direct care to patients on a given unit using the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation. Is responsible for managing care of assigned patients. Works primarily with adult and geriatric patient populations or pediatric and adolescent patients on assigned units.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

Education:   Associate degree in Nursing from an accredited nursing program or will obtain prior to working as a RN; as evidenced by primary source of verification

Licensure:   Current TN RN or a multi-state license meeting eNLC criteria professional licensure or will obtain prior to beginning work as a RN.  American Heart Association BLS CPR required.

Experience:   BLS CPR Certification Required
                     
Skills: Nursing skills as defined in the Law Governing the Practice of Nursing in Tennessee.
