Sr. Security Engineer

We are looking for a Senior security engineer with a real passion for privacy, security, and data protection to join our product team. We need an agile problem solver with privacy and compliance expertise to continue to execute and improve our procedure to scale with our business and the global regulatory landscape. Your primary responsibility will be to provide comprehensive cyber security guidance to all teams within inFeedo, ensuring the proactive protection of our systems and data from external vulnerabilities.

What will you be doing?

• Develop and implement security policies, standards, and procedures to ensure compliance with industry regulations and best practices.
• Conduct security assessments, vulnerability testing, and risk analyses to identify potential vulnerabilities and recommend appropriate remediation measures
• Participate in security audits and compliance assessments, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements (e.g., PCI-DSS, GDPR, ISO 27001).
• Collaborate with software engineering teams to integrate security practices into the software development lifecycle
• Perform security incident response, including investigating and resolving security breaches, and implementing measures to prevent future incidents.

Requirements

Is this you?

1. Experience in conducting security assessments, vulnerability testing, and risk analyses.
   
2. Hands-on experience with security tools and technologies (e.g., SIEM, IDS/IPS, WAF, DLP, and SSO).
   
3. Familiarity with secure software development practices and the ability to guide developers in writing secure code.
   
4. Understanding of cloud security concepts and experience with securing cloud-based environments (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP)
   
5. Expertise in handling client calls and security-related questions.
