Description
Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and the Division of Oncology in the Department of Pediatrics at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seek candidates for an Assistant Professor position in the non-tenure academic clinician track. Expertise is required in the specific area of clinical care directly related to patients with cancer and related disorders undergoing hematopoietic stem cell transplantation and/or receiving cellular immunotherapy. Applicants must have an M.D. or equivalent degree. Board-certified in pediatric hematology/oncology (or equivalent).
Teaching responsibilities may include didactic and clinical instruction of medical students, residents, fellows in pediatric hematology/oncology or related disciplines.
Clinical responsibilities may include enrolling patients in clinical trials, and treating patients enrolled in clinical trials.
Opportunities will be available to participate in clinical research related to the care of patients with cancer and related disorders undergoing hematopoietic stem cell transplantation and/or receiving cellular immunotherapy.
At least two years of experience as an attending physician after completion of Pediatric Hematology/Oncology Fellowship training is required.
