SUMMARY:
Orders and maintains supplies for the efficient operation of Lincoln Industries Maintenance Department. Develops and maintains relationships with vendors to ensure we are receiving quality products at the most competitive rates.
WAGE TYPE: Hourly

- Reviews and approves requisitions for supplies and designates approved suppliers.
- Purchases goods, machinery, equipment, tools, parts, and other supplies or services necessary for operations of the Maintenance Department when necessary
- Reviews requisitions, interviews vendors to obtain information concerning product, price, and ability of vendor to produce product or service, and delivery date.
- Maintains records pertaining to items purchased, costs, delivery, product performance, and inventories.
- Review packing slips for received materials.
- Use forklift to assist to move equipment/supplies in support of the maintenance team.
- As needed, processing pick-ups and deliveries.
- Monitor Inventory/stock levels and generate purchase order requests to the purchasing agent in order to maintain required inventory levels.
- Ensure accuracy of the Inventory system using random and scheduled cycle counts.
- General warehouse/office housekeeping
- Any other tasks as required fulfilling Lincoln Industries' Beliefs and Drivers.

- Reports to: Maintenance Purchasing Agent
QUALIFICATIONS: The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be substituted for the expected levels of education and experience required.
Education and/or Experience
Expected: High School Diploma or equivalent
Preferred: Associates degree in related field and/or one to two years of related inventory management in a manufacturing, maintenance, or repair operation.
Communication Skills:
- Must be able to read, write and comprehend the English language.
- Must communicate clearly with suppliers in written and verbal means.
Other Skills:
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.
- Ability to work independently.
- Must possess a valid drivers license to have the ability to operate a company vehicle.
- Customer relation skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Knowledge and Microsoft Office systems, including Word and Excel.
- Inventory practices.
