Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine is seeking a Senior Scientist to join the Data Science & Digital Health (DSDH) organization, located at one of the sites in US. In this role, you will drive innovative computational biology, AI/ML model development, and integrative omics strategies to inform clinical development for precision medicine.

Key Responsibilities

You will lead the enhancement and application of the Clinical Omics framework — modular pipelines for identifying molecular signatures across clinical studies. You will provide technical leadership and define architecture strategies for the multiomics solution/product. You will design and execute advanced computational analyses, manipulate multiomics datasets (genomic, transcriptomic, proteomic), drive algorithm selection/application, develop AI/ML models and build reproducible pipelines. You will generate actionable insights, perform data visualization, and partner with cross‑disciplinary scientists to translate analytics into therapeutic impact.

In this role, you will:

  • Lead the design, development, and optimization of modular, scalable pipelines integrating genomics, transcriptomics, proteomics, and clinical metadata.

  • Drive multi-omics QC and integration across study designs and across assay platforms for clinical trial and real-world datasets.

  • Develop analysis workflow/pipelines/visualizations to identify/characterize biomarkers and pathways; generate mechanistic insights linking to clinical outcomes.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally to apply insights into portfolio programs to support precision strategy and clinical development (patient selection/subtyping, asset evaluation, regulatory discussion and marketing strategies).

  • Provide technical leadership and set project strategies, technical milestones, and delivery timelines. Ensure computational workflows follow best practices for data integrity, reproducibility, and engineering.

  • Communicate the approach and findings effectively to diverse collaborators and stakeholders through internal/external reports, presentations and publications. Enhance the organization’s Omics data foundation and technical capabilities.
