Non-Tenure: Clinical Faculty

The Department of Comprehensive Dentistry at Texas A&M University College of Dentistry invites applications for a part-time, non-tenure track position with an 11-month appointment starting in September 2025. Applicants will be considered for the title of Clinical Faculty. Responsibilities include clinic and didactic Endodontics training to residents in the Advanced Education in General Dentistry program: supervision of clinical treatment of patients within the parameters listed on accepted treatment plans, participation in didactic instruction based on areas of expertise, and performance of other duties as assigned by the Program Director. Interested individuals should have a strong commitment to teaching and service.

Qualifications

Candidate must have a DDS from a U.S. or accredited dental school or equivalent degree and be eligible for licensure in Texas. Candidate must have an advance certificate in Endodontics treatment. Candidate must be familiar with the latest technology in dentistry, including dental microscopy, CBCT imaging, and pain management. Experience treating medically compromised patients and mentoring predoctoral students required.

All final candidates will be required to successfully pass a criminal background check prior to beginning employment.
