Software Engineer, Data Engineering and Analytics - USDS

Team Intro:

The Data Engineering team in Data Platform USDS is focused on ensuring the stability, reliability, scalability and risk management of TikTok's US data processing ecosystem. We maintain and operate both batch and streaming pipelines for multiple vertical businesses such as TikTok and TikTok Shop while simultaneously adhering to strict data compliance standards. We collaborate with a host of internal teams to better enable user experiences by delivering high quality at scale.



Responsibilities:

- System Design & Development: Design and implement scalable, secure software solutions. Build tools to automate processes and streamline engineering workflows.

- Engineering Excellence: Own the delivery of your software, ensuring reliability and performance through rigorous testing and code reviews.

- Collaboration: Partner with product, business, and other engineering teams to understand requirements and translate them into robust technical solutions.
