About the role

ABOUT THE ROLE 

The Supervisor, Inventory and Quality Control position will play a crucial role in our growing supply chain and driving efforts to ensure transactional integrity throughout our systems and processes. As the leader of the Inventory Operations team, you will create new processes, onboard them into the team’s workflows, and strive to continuously improve these processes to give an accurate picture of our supply chain performance and inventory position. You will be responsible for leading, developing and engaging our passionate Inventory Ops team; this includes crafting objective performance measurements and setting goals while motivating and mentoring the team to become the best leaders they can be. As a strategic leader, you understand the need for alignment in people, process, and technology but would be happy to roll up your sleeves if things don’t go according to plan. You lead by example, demonstrating your previous experience in the day to day management of supply chain operations, and you always put your team first when it comes to making tough decisions.

YOUR DAILY IMPACT AT PELOTON

  • Ensure KPIs are reviewed on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis and perform control and quality analysis on any behaviors/processes that could impact on inventory integrity
  • Develop Standard Operating procedures working with cross-functional teams, train employees in inventory and transactional control processes and operate as a point of escalation when required
  • Review new programs to determine required operational support, define resourcing needs and plan to onboard new processes into the team
  • Determine and run reporting cadences for inventory accuracy and process non-compliance; creating programs to improve certain areas
  • Lead the team in collecting and analyzing inventory and transactional variances across the Peloton network and ensure team performs required root cause analysis process to ensure trouble areas are supervised and eliminated
  • Ensure effective use of resources in managing transactional compliance and inventory accuracy
  • Lead the team to define and operate in a SOX-compliant manner, including participating in audits when necessary and working to ensure vital requirements are met by the team’s processes
  • Engage with cross-functional teams to ensure there is a clear understanding of where to find business-critical information and who to contact in specific scenarios
  • Participate in projects related to the Peloton inventory and transactional systems in order to provide guidance and assess impact to the team and create new processes and associated management metrics working alongside internal business partners, IT project managers and 3PL partners
  • Lead the team in Best in Class operations management practices and expect dedication
  • Mentor, train, and develop team members in career progression, performance improvement, and provide mentorship and guidance when the need emerges

YOU BRING TO PELOTON

  • 5+ years of inventory control/quality assurance experience
  • 5+ years leading direct reports to results oriented objectives
  • Understanding of end-to-end supply chain concepts and financial competency
  • Excellent leadership skills, including the ability to lead within a matrixed organization
  • Clear communicator with keen ability to present findings in succinct presentations; experience communicating with function heads
  • A bias towards action, and exceptional follow-through
  • Great quantitative, analytical and critical thinking skills with demonstrated use of data analysis and metrics to drive decision making and continuous improvement
  • Ability to organize resources effectively, prioritize and get work done
  • Desire to work in a fast-paced and constantly evolving environment, handling multiple work areas in parallel
  • Adaptability and comfort with change is critical
  • Experience with Supply Chain Systems are a big plus - including but not limited to ERP systems, Transportation Management Systems, Quality Management Systems, Manufacturing Execution Systems
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to influence internal and external members to get results
  • Experience handling KPIs, developing metrics to observe and improve inventory control, as well as experience in analytics and automation
