General Description

We are seeking an experienced Pharmaceutical Industry Talent Acquisition Recruiter to work on a contract basis remotely in the US. The individual must possess strong consulting skills with the demonstrated ability to understand Talent Acquisition requirements and translate that analysis into actionable, strategic solutions. A fundamental understanding of business strategy and how to align recruiting efforts with organizational goals is essential. This role requires a candidate who can operate both strategically and tactically, focusing specifically on Commercial and Medical Affairs disciplines within the pharmaceutical sector, with particular emphasis on oncology and hematology.

Essential Functions of the Job:

  • End-to-End Recruitment Management: Oversee the entire recruiting process lifecycle for Commercial and Medical Affairs roles, ensuring a focus on acquiring top talent in an efficinet manner.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the recruiting team, HR Business Partners (HRBPs), and hiring managers to develop targeted job descriptions, post requisitions, source candidates, and manage the recruiting process.
  • Candidate Evaluation: Pre-screen resumes, conduct candidate evaluations, and schedule interviews with hiring managers for key positions within Commercial and Medical Affairs.
  • Passive Candidate Recruitment: Utilize AI-driven sourcing tools to actively recruit passive candidates via LinkedIn, Gem, and other platforms, enhancing outreach and candidate engagement.
  • Best Practices Adoption: Promote and drive the adoption of established best practices for recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding across the organization to boost talent acquisition productivity and improve quality.
  • Creative Sourcing Strategies: Develop innovative sourcing strategies for challenging positions, employing AI technologies to enhance candidate sourcing, including direct sourcing, networking, and engagement with external search firms.
  • Resource Assessment: Evaluate internal and external recruitment resources, recommending AI-powered solutions that best meet the recruiting demands of the organization within Commercial and Medical Affairs.
  • Compliance Assurance: Ensure recruiting and hiring practices comply with government regulations and organizational policies throughout the recruiting process.
  • Market Knowledge Maintenance: Stay updated on industry trends in the pharmaceutical and biotech industries, specifically related to business, market trends, legal regulations, and recruitment best practices, particularly in oncology and hematology.
  • Best Practices Sharing: Identify and disseminate recruitment best practices across the organization, with an emphasis on emerging AI tools and capabilities.
  • Networking: Build and maintain a network of referrals to help identify qualified candidates and increase the applicant pool for hiring needs.
  • Hiring Manager Training: Provide training and guidance to hiring managers on BeOne's recruitment processes and the use of AI tools in the hiring process.
  • Partnership with TA Coordinators and HR Operations: Collaborate with Talent Acquisition Coordinators and HR Operations teams to promote and implement best practices for offers and onboarding.

Education Required:

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred.

Qualifications:

  • BA/BS degree with 5+ years of experience recruiting in the Biopharma industry across multiple functions, with previous experience supporting Commercial and Medical Affairs organizations and leadership.
  • Proven experience in recruiting for oncology and hematology positions, demonstrating deep understanding of the specific skills and qualifications required in these areas.
  • Solid understanding of the pharmaceutical drug discovery lifecycle and the unique challenges associated with recruitment in this sector.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of establishing credibility and influencing stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
