Key Responsibilities:
- Client Relationship Management: Manage a portfolio of asset manager and fund clients, serving as the primary contact for C-suite executives, managing principals and decision makers.
- Business Development: Lead a calling effort focused on fund finance relationships, including subscription lending, NAV transactions, and other bespoke solutions for private equity, private credit, and other alternative asset managers. Coverage efforts will be focused on Texas but with a national mandate.
- Tailored Solutions: Develop customized solutions based on client needs, leveraging industry knowledge and market insights.
- Product Collaboration: Partner with internal teams to cross-sell products such as treasury management, with a particular focus on capital markets and other investment banking services.
- Risk and Credit Oversight: Work closely with credit teams and other internal stakeholders to structure, underwrite, and monitor transactions.
- Mentorship: Mentor analysts and associates, providing guidance on technical skills, client management, and professional growth.
- Deal Execution: Lead client pitches, negotiations, and presentations to secure new business and expand relationships.
- Compliance: Ensure adherence to all regulatory requirements, risk frameworks, and internal policies.
- Team Leadership: Foster a collaborative, high-performing culture as a senior member of the Asset Management Services team and the wider FIG vertical within the Corporate & Investment Bank.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 10+ years in investment banking, corporate banking, or private credit with a proven track record of transaction expertise, relationship management and portfolio growth. 5+ years of fund finance or other relevant FIG-related experience highly preferred.
- Leadership: Experience mentoring junior team members and fostering a high-performing, inclusive environment.
- Skills: Strong expertise in corporate finance, credit analysis, and strategic advisory.
Training:
- FINRA 63 and 79 required within 120 days
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business, or a related field.
- Ideal candidate would hold an MBA, other advanced degree or CFA designation.
