Equipment Custodian (2039)

THIS POSITION IS CONTINGENT UPON CONTRACT START DATE

The primary purpose of this position is to control, maintain, and monitor inventory equipment.

• Monitor inventory equipment during the life cycle of the capital asset. 
• Process inventories by physically locating the equipment.
• Other duties associated with the Equipment Custodian position as needed.

Education

• Must have a high school diploma/GED AND a minimum of two (2) years’ experience as an Air Force Equipment Custodian performing monthly and annual account inventory and daily account management.

Experience

• Must have experience establishing equipment requirements, adjusting account authorizations, monitoring equipment calibration cycles, and managing equipment slated for Precision Measurement Equipment Laboratory (PMEL).  

License, Cert or Registration

• Must have a valid state driver’s license when required by job assignment.
• Must obtain a valid government driver’s license when required by job assignment. 
• Must obtain a valid commercial driver's license (CDL) to include hazardous material endorsement when required by job assignment. 
• Must obtain the level of Industrial Security Clearance required by the Government.

Special knowledge, skills, & abilities

• Must be physically able to perform the duties and responsibilities of the classification.  
• Must be able to work with required materials without debilitating irritation to skin, eyes or respiratory system while wearing the required personal protective equipment.
