Job Summary:

The Division of Rheumatology at the University of Colorado, seeks a part-time (0.5 FTE) Assistant Professor of Clinical Practice to practice at the UCHealth Lone Tree Medical Center in Lone Tree, CO. This position would involve a range of general rheumatology care, collaboration with rheumatology APPs, interaction with medical trainees inclusive of rheumatology fellows, and support of primary care and other subspecialties in the facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

·       Clinical duties include outpatient clinical care at the UCHealth Lone Tree.

·       Teaching activities may include leading formal/informal teaching sessions. Academic responsibilities may include active participation in rheumatology conferences with the Anschutz Medical Campus, quality improvement initiatives or other scholarly activities.

·       Interactions with faculty at the Anschutz Campus and clinical research collaborations are highly encouraged.

·       The clinician will have opportunity for academic promotion judged on criteria of demonstrated excellence as a clinician, educator and scholar.

Work Location: Onsite – this role is expected to work onsite and is located in Lone Tree and Aurora, CO.
