Partner Pay Specialist - Finance & Accounting

Responsibilities

Essential functions and process responsibilities (other duties may be assigned)- To be a fit in this role, you must have a passion for providing outstanding customer service and be able to accommodate occasional extended hours to meet deadlines and customer service levels. You must be able to retrieve relevant information from multiple systems, have effective communication skills, and the ability to provide accurate information in a timely manner.- Serves in a high-volume HR service center; responsible for processing Partner transactions related to Health & Welfare Benefits Plan administration, Payroll, and HR/Employment.- Handles transactions for benefits (including medical, dental, disability, vision, prescription drug, STD, LTD, life / AD&D), 401(k), and payroll / employment transactions- Ensures data integrity of all information supplied- Serves as liaison between H-E-B, Partners, and vendorsExperience and Education / Competencies Preferred- High school diploma or equivalent- 0+ years of experience in an office or high-volume fast pace location, preferably in a department related to benefit, employment, or payroll processing- Experience with HRMS (PeopleSoft) systems- Experience with highly confidential information- Knowledge of MS Office- Strong organization and time management skills- Verbal / written communication and presentation skills- Bi-lingual (English - Spanish) skills (preferred)- PC skills- Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and shift focus between tasks; attention to detail- Ability to follow documented, appropriate procedures- Energetic; positive attitudePhysical and Other Requirements- Function in a fast-paced, retail, office environment- Travel by car or plane with overnight stays- Work extended hours; sit for extended periods
