Job Description

Your contribution to something big: 

You will have the opportunity to join one of the Heat Pump application software development teams of the Electric Solutions group at Bosch ThermoTechnology, located in Aveiro. Your work will focus on improving and maintaining the software development pipeline and tools for a model-based development framework. Heat pumps offer a heating and/or cooling solution for the household, as well as domestic hot water, for the best and most efficient comfort at home.

In this position, you will:

• Take part of an agile team where you will take charge of DevOps topics for a model-based software framework:
  • Support with designing, monitoring, improving and maintaining the CI/CD pipelines for the software development teams, in close collaboration with other sites.
  • Contribute to the definition and automation of the development processes.
  • Take responsibility that your work meets high quality standards.
• Support the model-based software development in running projects.

Qualifications

What distinguishes you:

• Degree in Computer Science, Software engineering, Electrical and Computers, or Informatics (or similar);
• Knowledge and Experience with CI/CD pipelines;
• Knowledge and experience with Python, Bash, and Git, or similar; C/C++ (or other object-oriented programming languages) is also valued;
• Knowledge of modern DevOps, particularly with the Atlassian toolchain (Bitbucket, Jira (R4J, Xray), Confluence), Jenkins, SonarQube, and jFrog Artifactory;
• Knowledge and experience with Linux server (POSIX system), tool frameworks (Maven, Conda), backend services (APIs), and model-based development tools (MATLAB and Simulink) is also valued;
• Very good communication skills (in Portuguese and English), and willingness to collaborate with an international team - this includes willingness for occasional business travel;
• Good interpersonal skills and teamwork spirit, with eagerness to learn and share knowledge with others;
• Strong sense of responsibility;
• Proactive attitude, questioning unclear design decisions and suggesting improvements;
• Organized and motivated/self-driven, breaking down your own activities and supporting your manager and team in planning future tasks.
