Material Handling Assocaite Operator
Material Hanlding Operator
This candidate will be required to work in warehouse areas, refrigerated areas and in freezers with temperatures of -30c or colder. The job requires the candidate to continually handle and move boxes and pallets both manually and with handling equipment. This candidate will be expected to be able to work and complete assigned tasks on their own without constant supervision while following established procedures.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Able to lift 25 to 50 lbs. repeatedly
- Ability to work in extreme temperatures of -30C or colder
- Ability to follow written procedures
- Ability to use barcode readers
- Capable of performing basic computer skills
- Responsible for department housekeeping
- Ability to receive and separate incoming plasma
- Ability to identify and separate Special plasma
- Ability to pull freezer work orders and alerts
- Ability to work in a fast-pace environment when servicing Classification
- Able to identify rejected plasma
- Ability to stage freezer work orders and alerts
- Able to work with minimum supervision and follow detailed directions
- Ability to pull freezer work orders and stage alerts
- Able to perform weekly cycle counts
- Ability to load production runs and sales
- Ability to prepare plasma for distribution by Air, Land, and Sea
- Ability to receive customer samples and create sample reception form
- Ability to receive Ocean container
- Ability to prepare and complete Plasma Lot documentation
- Ability to use forklift to store plasma in freezer using automated system

Job Requirements:
EDUCATION:
High school diploma or GED
EXPERIENCE - Material Handling Associate Operator: Typically requires no previous related experience.
- Possess good verbal and written communication skills
- Possess basic math skills (addition, subtraction, division, multiplication).
- To be able to multi task in warehouse environment.
- Possess good organization skills
EXPERIENCE - Material Handling Operator:
- Knowledge of cGMP
- Warehouse experience and lift truck certified
- Possess good verbal and written communication skills
- Possess basic math skills (addition, subtraction, division, multiplication).

EQUIVALENCY:
- Depending on the area of assignment, directly-related experience or a combination of directly-related education and experience and/or competencies may be considered in place of the stated requirements. Example: If a job level typically requires an Associate’s degree plus 2 years of experience, an equivalent could include 4 years of experience or a Bachelor's degree.
