Responsibilities:
- Will be responsible for leading a electrical team on medium and large programs
- Responsible for validation of electrical designs
- Mentoring and advising less experienced personnel
- Responsible to interface with the Systems Group to develop electrical requirements
- Responsible to develop ELA's, provide liaison support to Operations, and support Test Group
Must-haves:
- Bachelor's of Science degree in Electrical Engineering or other related discipline and typically 16 or more years of relevant experience
- Higher education may substitute for relevant experience
- Expert Knowledge knowledge of engineering principles and practices
- Comprehensive understanding of Computer Aided Engineering tools
- Experience working in multi-disciplinary design and development teams
- Experience working with jet integrations, like the Bombardier Global 6500
Preferred:
- Proficiency with simulations through functional and logical models and system analysis
- Background in the Aerospace and Defense Industry
- Experience composing and analyzing Electrical Load Analysis (ELA), circuit modeling, simulation, and analysis
- Knowledge of industry-standard electrical design principles, to include, but not limited to model-based definition, electrical component selection, manufacturing, and production processes
- Experience in digital or analog circuit design and schematic capture
- Experience in CATIA V6
