Principal Electrical Engineer

You'll conceptualize and design new products and processes throughout the product lifecycle from analog and digital electronic circuit card assemblies to fully integrated systems.

Responsibilities:

• Will be responsible for leading a electrical team on medium and large programs
• Responsible for validation of electrical designs
• Mentoring and advising less experienced personnel
• Responsible to interface with the Systems Group to develop electrical requirements
• Responsible to develop ELA's, provide liaison support to Operations, and support Test Group

Must-haves:

• Bachelor's of Science degree in Electrical Engineering or other related discipline and typically 16 or more years of relevant experience
• Higher education may substitute for relevant experience
• Expert Knowledge knowledge of engineering principles and practices
• Comprehensive understanding of Computer Aided Engineering tools
• Experience working in multi-disciplinary design and development teams
• Experience working with jet integrations, like the Bombardier Global 6500

 

Preferred:

• Proficiency with simulations through functional and logical models and system analysis
• Background in the Aerospace and Defense Industry
• Experience composing and analyzing Electrical Load Analysis (ELA), circuit modeling, simulation, and analysis
• Knowledge of industry-standard electrical design principles, to include, but not limited to model-based definition, electrical component selection, manufacturing, and production processes
• Experience in digital or analog circuit design and schematic capture
• Experience in CATIA V6
