Warehouse Machine Operator - 1st Shift

Description

JOB OBJECTIVE

The Machine Operator is responsible for replenishing and picking inventory, performing inventory counts, building and breaking down pallets, unloading and loading trucks while adhering to safety regulations.

JOB SUMMARY

•  Accurately pick and restock product using powered mobile material handling equipment
•  Documents actions using handheld RF for movement of materials and finished goods
•  Maintains safe work environment by watching out for foot traffic; following standards and procedures regarding machine use.
•  Keeps machinery operating by following operating instructions such as performing preventive maintenance and promptly calling for repairs as required.
•  Perform other duties as needed to support distribution activities
• 1st Shift is M - F, 7am-3:30pm, Saturdays if scheduled and if business needs require, mandatory overtime
• $21.00 / hour

Requirements

EXPECTATIONS

•  Must be comfortable with heights / ability to work on a high reach truck.
•  High school diploma or equivalent experience
•  Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs on a regular basis and to stand for several hours at a time.
•  1-2 years experience operating warehouse machinery such as forklift, order picker, or turret truck.
•  Must be able to perform basic math such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division for interpretation of orders, along proven abilities with attention to detail.
