Job Responsibilities
Prepare monthly and quarterly journal entries and perform account reconciliations including identification and remediation of accounting variances in compliance with control requirements
Assist team members with other consolidation related tasks and deliverables
Prepare income statement and balance sheet packages and related schedules and work closely with various departments to address questions and facilitate financial statement analysis and review.
Assist other teams within the Finance organization by providing support related to the general ledger balances/transactions and relevant accounting guidance.
Participate in the internal and external audit process.
Collaborate with teammates and initiate ideas with management to identify, design, and implement process improvements for greater efficiency and effectiveness.
Participate in other strategic accounting and business projects as they arise
Education
Bachelor’s degree required
Certification:
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license or candidate preferred
Work Experience
1-3 years of accounting experience preferred
Skill Sets
Strong computer skills including a high degree of proficiency within Excel.
Experience with PowerPoint desired.
High degree of flexibility and responsiveness to change in a fast-paced environment.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
