Job Description
The Project and Operations Readiness team, part of our Service Excellence Family, was founded on the idea that education, collaboration, and an effortless change management experience helps our Team Members and Customers excel. In this role, you’ll be managing projects and programs to drive change and deliver solid solutions that make life easier for all.
In this role, you will be responsible for project management, business/system requirements gathering, and communications as a member of the Service Excellence team. You will report to the Afterpay Global Service Excellence Leader.
You'll partner with your team, Global Operations leadership and Product Managers to build project requirements and execution plans to ensure impacted teams are prepared for and retain job critical information about product launches and workflow updates.
Responsibilities include:
Leadership & Development:
Partner with Product Managers, Customer Knowledge, WFM, L&D, Business Systems, and Operations teams across projects by offering input and guidance from a Global Operations perspective.
Influence and make decisions regarding operational process improvements, best-practice sharing, and standardization of processes
Building for global scale:
Develop metrics to measure the growth and performance of the team, and provide reports on progress
Build repeatable, shared processes that scale and incorporate the needs of a diverse group of partners.
Evaluate and implement the tooling required to scale change management processes
Use deep product and industry knowledge, gather and summarize relevant data, suggest tooling improvements and techniques to help scale the team while serving as a cross-functional leader.
Qualifications
6+ years of work experience within change management, operations excellence, knowledge and readiness
3+ years of experience with product or project management experience or related experience

Block takes a market-based approach to pay, and pay may vary depending on your location. U.S. locations are categorized into one of four zones based on a cost of labor index for that geographic area. The successful candidate’s starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. These ranges may be modified in the future.
Zone A: USD $125,600 - USD $153,600
Zone B: USD $116,800 - USD $142,800
Zone C: USD $110,500 - USD $135,100
Zone D: USD $100,500 - USD $122,900
