As a Security Professional- Retail Location - Part Time in Sunnyvale, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls and more .

As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to maintain a secure environment at a dynamic retail location. Your responsibilities will include monitoring entrances and exits, verifying credentials, and conducting routine patrols throughout the premises. By remaining visible and approachable, you will help to deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service to visitors and staff. You will also utilize technology such as computers or tablets to support your daily tasks. Pay Rate: $18.54 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Assist with access control procedures at the retail location, verifying credentials and monitoring entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access.
• Provide customer service by addressing inquiries and assisting visitors, employees, and/or vendors in a professional manner.
• Carry out security-related procedures and follow site-specific policies as directed by Allied Universal and the client site.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail environment and its perimeter to help to deter potential security-related issues.
• Document and report any suspicious activity, security-related incidents, or maintenance concerns observed during patrols or while monitoring access points.
• Support emergency response activities as needed, including assisting with evacuations or other site-specific emergency procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must have 1+ years of armed security, law enforcement, or military experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
