Job Description

Primary Function of Position
The following reflects management's definition of essential functions for this job but does not
restrict the tasks that may be assigned. Management may assign or reassign duties and
responsibilities to this job at any time due to reasonable accommodation or other reasons.
Under general supervision, follows oral and/or written instructions in performance of a wide
variety of skilled technical maintenance, repair, and testing on complex digital and analog
electronic components, electrical and electro-mechanical components, cable assemblies, sub-
assemblies, assemblies, field replaceable units (FRU) and systems to support a wide variety of
Robotic Systems. Regularly use of diagnostic software for localizing equipment and system
problems, specialized testing equipment, analyzers, digital oscilloscopes, digital multimeters,
clocks, timers, calipers, voltmeters, power supplies, rulers, and other test equipment as required

Essential Job Duties
• Perform failure analysis, repair, testing, and/or packaging
per applicable work instructions and experience
• Updates RMA information in SAP such as complaint root cause, complaint codes, pm
findings, and repairs needed
• Maintains work order information such as the BOM, operations completed, tools used for
repair, material used for repair, and test results
• Analyzes wiring diagrams, schematics, assembly drawings, and fab drawings to conduct
repairs and testing of FRUs
• Provide detailed symptom descriptions for Failures uncovered during repair, functional
test, and calibration to assist in component level troubleshooting
• Conducts quality inspections of own or other’s work to ensure workmanship standards
are met
• Complete all required documentation per GDP guidelines
• Reports quality issues and provides details necessary to create quality notifications (VR,
PL, NCs) records transaction in SAP as needed to preserve traceability
• Maintains neat and orderly work area in compliance with 6S standards
• Follows all safety procedures and protocols

Qualifications

Required Skills and Experience
• 2-4 years related experience, or degree in a STEM field, or equivalent combination of
education and experience.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English
• Ability to interpret written instructions
• Ability to do basic math
• Ability to apply logical understanding to carry out instructions
• Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical internal customers
• Proficient use of computer and associated programs

• Excellent hand eye coordination
• Ability to handle small parts and tools
• Ability to work varying shifts
• Ability to work in a team environment
Required Education and Training
• High School Diploma or equivalent vocational training; and/or on the job training
Working Conditions
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
• Able to use office and test equipment in a typical office/light manufacturing environment.
