Job Summary

A Systems Engineer – Special Technical Collections (STC), Senior will provide engineering support of complex processing capabilities in support of national security for our IC customer.

Provide advisory and assistance support to the Space and Counterspace Division within Science and Technology Directorate. Typical support includes Systems Engineering and Technical Assistance (SETA) and advisory and assistance support related to sensor technologies.

Roles and Responsibilities

A qualified candidate will perform the following duties and responsibilities, but are not limited to:

• Advise on tasking of various Special Technical Collections
• Utilize established methodologies to process and interpret collected data
• Design innovative tasking and processing techniques to gain additional value from collected signal data
• Devise capability improvement and optimization options to meet end user needs

Knowledge and Skills

• Experience with Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR)
• Experience with Space Awareness/Space Domain
• Experience in Special Technical Collections

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM related field. Master’s degree preferred
• 7 to 10+ years’ experience working in systems engineering with a focus on Special Technical Collections
