About the role

Overview

As an Originations Software Development Manager, you’ll help drive Concora Credit’s Mission to enable customers to Do More with Credit – every single day.

The impact you’ll have at Concora Credit:

You'll deliver innovative, resilient, high-quality digital experiences that connect millions of consumers responsibly with credit that helps them do more.

The position is located at our headquarters in Beaverton, Oregon, where you will lead a team of developers and quality engineers working in the office and across the country. We seek an experienced professional with expertise in cloud-first technologies and modern development practices — someone with an owner/operator philosophy who is excited about reliably delivering modern, consumer-driven experiences with high quality, inspiring your staff and colleagues to do new things, and who is ever-curious and eager to learn. If you're a leader who gets things done, values collaboration, transparent communication, and empowering the exceptional people who work alongside you, we'd love to have you join us!

We hire people, not positions. That's because, at Concora Credit, we put people first, including our customers, partners, and Team Members. Concora Credit is guided by a single purpose: to help non-prime customers do more with credit. Today, we have helped millions of customers access credit. Our industry leadership, resilience, and willingness to adapt ensure we can help our partners responsibly say yes to millions more. As a company grounded in entrepreneurship, we're looking to expand our team and are looking for people who foster innovation, strive to make an impact, and want to Do More! We’re an established company with over 20 years of experience, but now we’re taking things to the next level. We're seeking someone who wants to impact the business and play a pivotal role in leading the charge for change.

  • Be a hands-on team leader with deep technical experience and skills in areas of Agile software development, developing and maintaining scalable enterprise level solutions, and engineering management.
  • Solid collaboration skills with a focus on building strong relationships and a desire to foster an environment of mutual support and success, where on-time delivery is an enterprise goal.
  • Experience leading teams through change, including the adoption of new processes and best practices.
  • Experience leading and using AI-assisted software development, testing, and documentation is a plus.
  • Understanding of the modern skills, processes, tools, and methodologies required to rapidly develop, deliver, and iterate high-quality, secure software and services.
  • Experience leading teams through transformational changes, driving efficiency, effectiveness, and quality through new ways of working, processes, and tools.
  • Strong practical background in cloud-native development and traditional components of development such as C#, ASP/ASP.Net, .NET Core, PHP/Drupal, JavaScript, jQuery, and SQL Server.
  • A data and process-driven decision maker with the ability to define, document, and implement corporate and team-based KPIs, policies, and procedures.
  • Experience leading Azure development and integration technologies such as Azure DevOps, Service Bus, Event Grid, Function Apps, Durable Functions (or lambdas), CosmosDB, Azure SQL Server, and containerization or similar technologies in AWS or GCP.
  • Experience with transactional API integrations.
