About the role

Department Overview

Oregon Health and Science University (OHSU) Department of Diagnostic Radiology is seeking a well-trained, subspecialized radiologist to join an MSK imaging team dedicated to outstanding patient care, resident and fellow teaching, and academic excellence.

The current practice consists of six core MSK faculty members (all Society of Skeletal Radiology members and one International Skeletal Society member) and two MSK fellows per.

Function/Duties of Position

  • Clinical responsibilities include general MSK radiographs; MRI and CT (sports, oncology, rheumatology); diagnostic MSK ultrasound; and participation in interdisciplinary conferences

  • High procedural volume, including fluoroscopy-, CT-, and ultrasound-guided interventions such as spine and extremity biopsies, osteoid osteoma radiofrequency ablations, and joint injections

  • Approximately 50% of clinical work and call responsibilities are performed from home, with the remainder onsite at the main hospital; no overnight call

  • At least one academic day per week, with additional time based on departmental roles and responsibilities

  • Optional moonlighting opportunities available for interested faculty

Required Qualifications

  • ABR Board Certified or Board Eligible
  • Completion of an ACGME-accredited Diagnostic Radiology residency
  • Eligible to practice in Oregon
  • International Medical Graduates encouraged to apply if they also hold:
    • Valid ECFMG certification
    • ABR Board Certified or Board Eligible through the ABR IMG Alternate Pathway Program

Preferred Qualifications

  • Academic experience or interest
  • Current Fellows, all levels of candidates with fellowship training and/or faculty experience in MSK Imaging are encouraged to apply
