Position Summary
We are seeking an Instructional System Designer (ISD) to provide contract support to Air Force Special Operations Command’s Technology, Integration, and Support Cooperative organization. As an Instructional System Designer (ISD), you will apply the ADDIE process to training requirements to create and sustain courseware, create and sustain work instructions, attend program and team meetings, collaborate with your team members, subject matter experts, and other stakeholders to derive the requirements to then complete the training modernization efforts for the clients’ courses.

Essential Job Responsibilities
- Assist in migrating existing courseware in PDF and MS PowerPoint formats into Enterprise Learning Management System (LMS) (Moodle).
- Will provide and maintain multimedia course materials in accordance with established customer requirements and Air Force guidelines and directives
- May assist in the development and maintenance of organizational training products and online/e-learning academic training materials with guidance and assistance from the government customer.
- Will adhere to approved style guides and customer instructional design plan that documents policies and standards.
- Will be involved in the all parts of the ADDIE process for a variety of training projects and training scenarios to ensure the effective development of sound courseware content to meet the customer’s needs.
- Must have excellent writing, editing, and oral communications skills.
- Must be able to communicate with engineers, graphic artist, and subject matter experts and assist in deriving requirements for future training needs.
- Must be able to read and understand technical data.
- Will create and sustain work instructions.
- Must be a proven self-starter with an ability to interact affectively with military industry, and academic partners.
- May participate in training needs analysis and gap analysis.
- Will develop training using the program of record Learning Content Management System (LCMS).
- Must be familiar with Microsoft, to include: word, excel, power point, outlook and MS Teams.
- Will work onsite at Hurlburt Field, FL.
What we are looking for
- 8 years relevant progressive experience with Bachelors in related field; 6 years relevant progressive experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 12 years relevant progressive experience.
- A Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
