Job Description

Purpose: 

The Director, Data & Analytics is a senior role with a strategic mandate to oversee the development and deployment of data and analytics capabilities across the AbbVie Endocrinology Inc. (AEI) function. This role involves high-level engagement with functional business leaders, translating analytics demands into comprehensive roadmaps, and guiding the adoption of data-driven decision-making within the organization. The Director will also be responsible for the strategic leadership of data health and the delivery of analytics products, ensuring they drive value and support AEI objectives. 

Responsibilities: 

• Envision and articulate the overarching strategy for data and analytics within AEI, ensuring alignment with business goals and driving digital transformation. 

• Lead the development of integrated data and analytics roadmaps and develop business cases with respective funding in collaboration with the Business Technology Solutions (BTS) Data Office, to set the direction for capability enhancement. 

• Oversee the translation of business needs into data and analytics solutions, ensuring data and analytics delivery aligns with stakeholder expectations and adds value to AEI operations. 

• Champion the adoption and utilization of data assets and analytics products, fostering a culture of data-driven decision-making and continuous learning. 

• Direct the governance of data processes, establishing maintenance routines, quality standards, and reporting mechanisms to ensure ongoing data integrity.
