As a seasoned Java expert, you will play a key role in shaping our technology stack, mentoring junior developers, and contributing to the growth of our organization. You will work in an Agile environment, leveraging AI tools daily to enhance productivity and innovation.</p> <p> </p> <p><strong>🚀 Key Responsibilities:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Design, develop, and maintain microservices-based applications using Java (maybe some other languages ….), ensuring high-quality, scalable, and maintainable code.</li> <li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements, and develop solutions that meet business needs.</li> <li>Work on the implementation of REST APIs, ensuring secure and efficient data exchange.</li> <li>Work with SQL databases for data storage and retrieval, and implement data modeling and schema design.</li> <li>Manage project dependencies with Maven or Gradle, and ensure seamless integration with other tools and systems.</li> <li>Participate in code reviews, write unit tests using JUnit, Mockito, and other testing frameworks, and ensure high code coverage.</li> <li>Coach junior team members, providing guidance on best practices, design patterns, and coding standards.</li> <li>Work on tasks assigned via Jira tickets, track progress efficiently, and provide regular updates to stakeholders.</li> <li>Leverage AI tools daily to enhance productivity, problem-solving, and innovation, and identify opportunities for process improvements.</li> </ul> <p><strong>✏️ Requirements:</strong></p> <ul> <li><strong>+</strong>5 years of experience in Java development, with a strong focus on microservices architecture.</li> <li>Expert-level knowledge of Java, including Java 11 and later versions.</li> <li>Proficiency in one or more additional programming languages, such as Ruby, Python, or Go.</li> <li>Understanding of UI frameworks, including Angular, React, or similar technologies.</li> <li>Practical experience with SQL databases, including data modeling and schema design.</li> <li>Expertise in designing and implementing REST APIs, including API security and testing.</li> <li>Advanced knowledge of Git, including branching, merging, and conflict resolution.</li> <li>Experience with Maven or Gradle for dependency management, and knowledge of build automation.</li> <li>Strong understanding of Agile development methodologies, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.</li> <li>Experience with ELK stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana) and Grafana for monitoring and logging.</li> <li>Experience with Messaging brokers (ActiveMq, Kafka …) </li> <li>Familiarity with Jira for task management and progress tracking, and experience with Agile project management.</li> <li>Exposure to testing frameworks like JUnit and Mockito, and experience with test-driven development.</li> <li>Optional familiarity with Dropwizard for microservices development, and experience with containerization tools like Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Nice-to-Have Skills:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Experience with cloud platforms, such as AWS or Google Cloud.</li> <li>Knowledge of DevOps practices, including continuous integration and continuous deployment.</li> <li>Experience with machine learning or artificial intelligence technologies.</li> </ul> <p><strong>🌎 Location:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Prague</li> <li>We work in a hybrid model - 3 days per week in the office, 2 days remotely. </li> </ul> <p><strong>💬 What is our mindset?</strong></p> <ul> <li>We compare ourselves to a<strong> sports team</strong>, striving to assemble the best team with the available resources. </li> <li>While maintaining values like <strong>fairness, mutual support, </strong>and <strong>respect</strong>, we also foc
