Minimum Pay

Compensation will be commensurate with the level of the position, education, and experience.

JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

The Camp Assistant will support the Chef Instructor in his or her culinary-based lessons to kids ages 8-16. Other duties include ensuring the cleanliness and sanitation of the room and equipment. Hours are Mon - Thursday, 8am - 5pm. No evenings, no weekends. Thursday, June 5th - Training DayMon, June 8th - First day of CampsCamps run Mon through Thurs, 9am - noon.  Additional workshops and special camps run to 4pm.Thursday, July 31st - Last day of CampsDESCRIPTION OF WORK:Camp Assistants are responsible for guiding a group of approximately four campers.  The Camp Instructor will lead the camp; it is up to the Assistants to make sure their group is being safe, sanitary, taking turns, helping with the basics, etc.LOCATION:All camps are at the Institute for the Culinary Arts on MCC's Fort Omaha Campus off 32nd and Sorensen Parkway.MISC:The hiring process requires passing a background check.PERKS:  It's fun, there's food, and no nights, no weekends!  Plus, you'll get to learn new things right along with the kiddos!
