Job Description
As a Security Officer Financial Facility Patrol in Charlotte, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more.
As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in maintaining a secure environment within financial institution locations. Your primary responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols throughout the premises, staying visible to help deter potential security-related incidents, and responding promptly to any situations that arise. You will interact regularly with employees and visitors, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication while supporting access control measures. - Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
- Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
- Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
- Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
- Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
Responsibilities:
- Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies and/or responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the financial institution and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential issues.
- Observe and report any suspicious behavior, hazards, or irregularities encountered during patrols to the appropriate personnel.
- Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to help to deter unauthorized activity and provide reassurance to employees and visitors.
- Assist with access control and monitor entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access within the financial institution.
- Collaborate with Allied Universal management and client representatives to address security-related concerns and provide updates as needed.

Minimum Requirements:
- Must have at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or possess a college degree.
- Must provide proof of high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
