Job Purpose:

We are hiring an SAP Consultant Contractor with specialized experience in S/4HANA PLM and Enterprise Product Development (EPD/IPD). In this role, you will be responsible for implementing, configuring, and supporting SAP modules to align with evolving business needs. You will work closely with stakeholders to evaluate business processes, propose SAP-based solutions, and support ongoing system improvements. This is a remote role with required availability during Central Time business hours and occasional travel (up to 40% through September), with travel expenses covered.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

• Configure and implement SAP S/4HANA PLM and EPD modules to enhance product development and supplier collaboration workflows.
• Analyze existing business processes and recommend SAP solutions to improve operational efficiency and data integrity.
• Support functional and technical teams with system integration and configuration needs.
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for SAP configurations, enhancements, and customizations.
• Troubleshoot system issues and provide timely resolution in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Work with business stakeholders to gather and validate requirements and translate them into technical SAP deliverables.
• Ensure solutions adhere to best practices and align with the organization’s broader technology strategy.

Required Skills & Experience

• Proven experience in SAP S/4HANA Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) implementation and support.
• Expertise in Enterprise Product Development (EPD) or Intelligent Product Design (IPD) modules.
• Strong understanding of supplier collaboration features within SAP.
• Ability to analyze and optimize SAP configurations based on changing business requirements.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience creating functional documentation and conducting system testing.
• Willingness to work Central Time (CT) business hours regardless of location.
• Willingness to travel up to 40% through September (travel expenses covered).
• Strong communication skills and the ability to engage effectively with business and IT stakeholders.
