Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) Responsibilities:
- Assist in providing physical therapy interventions under the supervision of a Physical Therapist (PT).
- Implement individualized treatment plans to improve residents' mobility, strength, and overall functional abilities.
- Work with residents to address challenges with mobility, balance, and daily activities.
- Support residents in regaining independence and improving their quality of life.
- Track residents’ progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
- Educate residents and their families on therapeutic techniques for improving mobility and safety.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary care team, including PTs, OTs, nurses, and speech therapists, to ensure holistic patient care.
- Participate in care planning meetings to discuss progress and treatment goals.
- Maintain accurate records of treatments and progress to meet healthcare regulations.
- Ensure a safe, supportive, and compassionate environment for residents receiving therapy.

Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school with an associate degree as Physical Therapy Assistant.
- Certification by the State of Wisconsin to practice as a Physical Therapy Assistant.
