Key Responsibilities

  • Supply Chain Capacity & Resiliency
    • Lead end-to-end capacity assessments: map demand vs. supply by SKU/module, evaluate supplier throughput, lead times, constraints, and dependency risks.
    • Build capacity models and scenarios (upside/downsides, ramp schedules, buffers); recommend investment or rebalancing plans.
    • Drive capacity unlock plans with suppliers (Man, Material, Machine, or Brick & Mortar related)
  • Sole/Single Source Mitigation
    • Identify sole/limited source parts, modules, and processes; quantify risk exposure and business impact.
    • Create Resiliency roadmaps: second-source qualification or second site qualifications and readiness.
    • Partner with Engineering, SQE, and Regulatory/Compliance for alternate part qualification (form/fit/function, reliability testing, certifications).
    • Negotiate and implement LTAs, allocation protections, safety stock agreements, and business continuity plans (BCP) with key suppliers.
  • Module Outsourcing Projects
    • Lead make-vs-buy and outsourcing transitions for assemblies/modules: requirements definition, supplier selection, SOW creation, NPI/NPD integration, ramp plans.
    • Run RFQ, total landed cost analysis (TLC), and should-cost/clean sheet reviews; recommend award scenarios.
    • Oversee transfer of work (process mapping, BOM/BoM rationalization, DFM/DFx feedback, line validation, pilot runs, PPAP/FAI, packaging & logistics setup).
    • Establish SLAs, quality plans, and KPIs; manage readiness gates and program reporting.
  • Program & Stakeholder Management
    • Build and manage integrated project plans (scope, timeline, budget, risks, comms).
    • Facilitate cross-functional reviews and stage gates; escalate issues with clear trade-offs and recommendations.
    • Maintain executive-ready dashboards on capacity, risk, and outsourcing progress.
