Project Controlling Manager (Team Lead) for Ramboll Americas

Location: Arlington, VA or Chicago, IL (Will also consider candidates that reside in close proximity to our Charlotte, NC, Atlanta, GA, Milwaukee, WI, Syracuse, NY and Princeton, NJ offices.)

We are searching for a talented and engaging person to lead our Project Controlling team supporting the Environment & Health West Region. The position location preferences are Arlington, Virginia or Chicago, IL. This person will be part of the Americas Business Finance Leadership Team and will represent the Americas as part of the Global Service Management organization by closely collaborating with colleagues across borders.

Project Controllers are part of Business Finance and are responsible for ensuring that financials provide an accurate and complete representation of project positions. In this role you will oversee a team of Project Controllers and Financial Project Coordinators. You will operate as a trusted advisor to business executives by driving financial health and improved business results by providing data driven analysis and advice to PMs.

Tasks and Responsibilities

• Supervise a team of Ten direct reports, providing regular feedback to help drive and shape their career and improve overall skill set
• Oversee the project-level financial processes for the West Region including:
  • Revenue Recognition
  • Monthly Invoicing
  • Working Capital Management
  • Risk Monitoring
  • Project Monitoring & Maintenance
  • Project Creation & Closeout
• Work closely with the Ramboll Service Center (RSC) to complete project maintenance and billing activities
• Execute with an innovative mindset by leading team members through innovative ideas to optimize Project Controlling
• Embrace change with agility and adaptability and leading team members through changes in strategic direction as set by senior management
• Execute contract financial processes with emphasis on quality and compliance (global and local statutory, tax, Internal Controls, and US GAAP & IFRS requirements)
