This Opportunity:
- Perform Control, Boundary and Topographic Surveys
- Right of Way Plans
- Use of Trimble data collectors
- Use of drone's and 3D scanning technology
Required Qualifications:
- Previous Survey experience, including field experience
- Must have a high school diploma or GED
- Previous experience with AutoCAD
- Ability to work 10-12 hour days in remote or rural areas
- Ability to work outside in various conditions
- Willing to work out of town/travel
- This position requires an MVR records check verifying that you possess a valid driver’s license and a driving record which meets the requirements of SEH’s Driving Program.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Understanding of CDOT procedures and standards including Right-of-Way plan production
- Proficient with the use of Trimble data collectors, Trimble GPS, Trimble robotic total stations and Trimble Business Center
- Ability to apply principles and practices of land surveying
- Ability to understand and decipher horizontal/vertical datums and coordinate systems
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong math skills
