The Job
This Senior Product Manager will be a key member of Panther’s Ingestion team. This team owns the functionality to ingest data into Panther’s SIEM, both log and enrichment data. Panther Product Managers own the end-to-end process from discovering and comprehending to prioritizing problems at the intersection of user and business needs. This role is key in taking projects from strategic vision and user research to launch. You will work directly with our users, designers, engineers, and partners on go-to-market to move our product offering forward. This role will report to our VP of Product Management.

The Responsibilities
- 3-5+ years in a product management role, ideally at fast-growing, SaaS-based startups.
- "Spider product sense": You must have an intuitive understanding of customer needs and market trends, based on synthesizing data from various sources such as company goals, customer requirements, and competitors.
- Curiosity: It is important to maintain a constant curiosity about topics relevant to your work. Continuously ask questions like, "Where is the market heading?" and "What are the genuine needs of our customers?"
- Proficiency in data ingestion, ETL (Extract, Transform, Load), data processing, analytics, and cloud-based data management is required. SQL proficiency is considered a bonus.
- Detail-oriented: You must keep track of individual feature requests and bug fixes, having a thorough understanding of the product. You excel at ensuring that no critical details are overlooked or forgotten.
- Communication: It is important to have strong speaking and writing skills. Being able to write concisely is crucial for creating clear requirements in Engineering. Additionally, you should be able to persuade others and advocate for your viewpoint, while also being open to gathering input from others. Effective listening is just as important as effective speaking.
- Leadership: You collaborate with individuals at various levels, including executives, to transform your vision into reality. You play a crucial role in driving action. By effectively communicating your understanding of customer needs and your product's features, you inspire others to take action.
- Note that this role will involve working with the Ingestion team, which is based in Greece. Candidates must be located in the Eastern time zone to be considered.
The Requirements
- 3-5 + years in a product management role, ideally at fast-growing, SaaS-based startups.
- Experience successfully launching data products or technical products.
- Technical fluency in big data processing, data lakes, cloud-based data management, SQL, etc.
- You are a strong analytical thinker and have the ability to measure and quantify the impact of your team’s work.
- You are a strong listener and great communicator and can clearly explain product concepts to our customers, and customer use cases to our internal team members.
- BA/BS degree in a relevant technical discipline (e.g. Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, etc.) or equivalent practical experience.
Cash compensation range: 145,000 - 185,000 USD Annually
