Job DescriptionThe Paint Line General Labor position supports operations on the Powder Coating Automation Line. Responsibilities include cleaning, masking, and hanging parts on the finishing line, assisting with curing ovens, loading and unloading parts from the overhead conveyor, labeling and packaging finished parts, and performing quality checks. This role may also include minor touch-ups, equipment maintenance, and assisting with product assembly. Attention to detail, safety awareness, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment are key to success.

Key Responsibilities
- Inspect materials before and after paint finishing, including assisting with paint thickness testing
- Prepare parts for painting using masking, plugging hardware, and tape techniques
- Use hand, air, and power tools to prepare parts for powder coating
- Load and unload parts on the overhead conveyor system
- Assist with labeling, sorting, packaging, and staging painted parts for shipment or assembly
- Follow all safety protocols, including the proper use of PPE and handling of coating materials
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work area
Required Skills & Experience
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment
- Good communication skills with supervisors and coworkers
- Ability to follow verbal instructions
- Comfort working in a fast-paced, loud, and hot environment
- Strong situational awareness and organizational skills
- High attention to detail
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, twist, squat, and reach for extended periods
- Comfortable working in extreme hot or cold environments
- Ability to pass a physical exam, respirator fit test, and hearing conservation evaluation
Preferred (Not Required)
- Forklift certification
