Job Summary: Conducts in-process audits of manufactured goods and/or inspects purchased finished goods and raw materials for compliance with specifications. Maintains and reports audit and inspection results. There is a 4-week training during the shift (7:00 am – 3:00 pm), then the 1st Shift (6:30 am-2:30 pm), and the 2nd Shift evening shift (3:00 pm – 11:00 pm) for the remainder. Overtime to support Production as needed.
JOB FUNCTIONS:
1. Performs finished goods and raw material inspections in compliance with Standard Operating Procedures, which may include the use of calibrated measuring devices.
2. Maintains records of all inspection results and acceptance and rejection activities in the ERP system and incoming inspection folders.
3. Ensures non-conforming materials are placed on hold under Standard Operating Procedures and document disposition.
4. Communicate product failures to QA Management and to suppliers as needed as well as follow up on corrective action responses.
5. Perform particle count, and pyrogen sample collection and send to a Lab.
6. Perform heat seal inspections.
7. Support other tasks for the department as needed.
