<h3>Company Description</h3><p>Business Unit Eurofins PROXY is part of the international operating Eurofins Scientific and is a GMP Quality Control laboratory, where analytical chemical testing of raw materials, drug substances and drug products is performed. A large part of this work comprises routine compendial testing. However, for new products, formulations or monographs clients require development or validation of analytical methods. </p><p>This position is within the team of Biologics &amp; Developmental Drugs. This team of about 10 people specializes in testing biological substances, including proteins, (cyclic) peptides and oligonucleotides. </p><h3>Job Description</h3><p>As a Senior Chemical Analyst you are independently responsible within the QC laboratory of Eurofins PROXY for the implementation and reporting of physical-chemical analyzes of pharmaceutical finished products. You are also closely involved in method development and optimization by contributing ideas during the execution of the analyses. A wide range of tests are used, but the focus is on high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC), IC and CE. Other tests that are performed include GC, HVLD, CCIT, Karl Fischer / KFC, UV, ELSD, PDA, RI and clarity tests.</p><p>You get the chance to broaden your knowledge and apply many different types of tests. The work environment is best described as dynamic, because some work has to be done urgently. With the QC work you do at Eurofins you contribute to the development of personal medicines that can offer patients an individualized treatment based on their genetic and metabolic profiles. This is used, in some forms of cancer treatment. It also contributes to the development of new medicines and vaccines.</p><h3>Qualifications</h3><p>You aspire to a position within a QC environment as a Senior Chemical Analyst, where you can support less experienced colleagues and troubleshoot in case of deviating results. You also meet the following requirements:</p><ul><li>You have a diploma at HLO or University level in Analytical Chemistry and you have at least 4 years of experience in a laboratory environment;</li><li>You have an affinity with method development and optimization;</li><li>You are good at drawing up written reports;</li><li>You have experience with HPLC analyzes with different detectors;</li><li>You also have an affinity with other instrumental analysis techniques such as GC, AAS, titrations and wet chemical techniques;</li><li>You can analyze and act on deviating results through your knowledge and experience;</li><li>You have a good command of the Dutch and English language, both written and oral;</li><li>You are able to work under time pressure, and you can organize and plan your work independently;</li><li>Experience with GMP is desirable, but not required.</li></ul><p>In addition, in this growing organization you want to use your knowledge to improve the department together with your colleagues. You are efficient and like to streamline processes.
