Given these ambitions coupled with the ever-changing and increasingly complex retail landscape, Nordstrom has established a centralized Hardware Asset Management team, that partners closely with internal stakeholders and leadership to support the business at its foundation. We are searching for a capable team member to help us to transform the Hardware Asset Management program and deliver data-driven, value-based results.
We are hiring a Program Manager 2 to join a key team of Technology professionals managing technical programs that deliver significant business value to Nordstrom and its customers. The Program Manager 2 will partner with internal stakeholders to develop, design, build, and launch solutions to build more efficient and effective asset management practices. Additionally, this role will serve as a critical coordination point across multiple organizations, and will require a knowledgeable professional who is able to leverage strong interpersonal, leadership, communication and analytical skills to identify opportunities and drive results. The ideal candidate has a strong background in asset management industry best practices, understands how to utilize complex data-sets to drive business decisions, and is capable of developing and documenting process standards.
A day in the life…
- Thoroughly understands the standards, concepts and principles of program management to solve practical needs of the business, while independently managing small to moderate programs
- Proactively manages work execution through program dependencies, risks, schedules, budgets
- Understands the importance of requirements gathering, prioritization, and clear stakeholder communication
- Utilizes data-driven analysis to report on program status and performance, and proactively address program risks and issues
- Partners with product owning organizations to identify and develop current and forecasted hardware standards
- Monitors and supports asset end-of-life requirements, and is a key driver of next generation hardware strategies and roadmaps
- Applies asset lifecycle knowledge to develop standards, document processes, and align with various organizations to capture both business and technical requirements
You own this if you have…
- Bachelors Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Data Science or related experience required
- 3+ years of Project management experience
- A basic understanding of asset management best practices
- Experience translating technical requirements into plans
- Comfort in presenting to business stakeholders and leadership

Pay Range Details
The pay range(s) below are provided in compliance with state specific laws. Pay ranges may be different in other locations.
